What visa does a Grenada passport need for Togo?

🇬🇩 → 🇹🇬 E-visa — apply online

This is a real visa, just filed online. You wait for approval, you can be refused, and the fee is usually non-refundable.

Visa rules can change at any time. Confirm with your airline before each flight — the airline is liable if they board a passenger against regulations, so they update fastest. Data verified on 26/07/2026.

The other direction: Togo nationals travelling to Grenada — visa required in advance.

Frequently asked questions
Lomé is a natural deep-water port and among West Africa's busiest container ports. It serves not only Togo but the region's landlocked countries including Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger, and acts as a transhipment hub where cargo from large vessels transfers to smaller ones for onward regional ports.
Transit services are a more stable revenue source than resources because they do not deplete — a port does not run out the way an oil field does. But it depends on customers still choosing you, as Djibouti found when Ethiopia sought other sea outlets. And fierce competition makes ports better: Djibouti's near-monopoly does not push it to improve, while Lomé holds no monopoly and must be good to survive.
Competition between citizenship programmes is good for buyers, provided it competes on quality of due diligence and durability rather than price and speed. Competing on price and speed drags the whole group down, exactly as with ship flags in the Liberia article.
When a programme advertises that it is cheaper and faster than its rivals, that is not good news. Good news is a programme advertising that it vets more strictly than its rivals.
Togo has also taken steps to open a route for people of African descent abroad whose ancestors were taken in the slave trade, in the same direction as Benin's law. Two neighbours doing this close together in time suggests a direction forming in the region rather than an isolated initiative. The process is recent and the route does not apply to Vietnamese readers.
Phosphates — Togo holds significant reserves and is among the world's sources — plus cotton, coffee, cocoa, and port and logistics services. Togo has also developed regional banking, with several banks headquartered in Lomé operating across many West African countries.
A small domestic market and low income per head; dependence on transit trade makes it sensitive to neighbours' policies and conditions, and the withdrawal of Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso from ECOWAS further complicates this corridor's legal framework; security in northern border areas is affected by Sahel instability.
Togo belongs to ECOWAS and operates an export processing zone with its own incentives, the realistic route for manufacturers or logistics operators. Lomé is among the most convenient entry points to the whole West African corridor, but French is needed.
